Who is MCL?
MCL is an organization that has been providing support to people with disabilities since 1988. MCL is committed to providing top quality individualized services, which includes – but not limited to – accessing housing services, and community based supports.
Who does MCL support?
MCL provides support to individuals participating in the Disability Support Program (DSP) with the Department of Community Services (DCS).

You can call toll-free within Nova Scotia: 1-877-424-1177. You can speak with someone during the following hours:
Monday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
You also can visit a Community Services office and call the toll-free intake line from there, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

What support options can MCL offer me?
MCL provides Small Option Home (SOH) and Independent Living Support (ILS) options. Both options can boost your independence so you can have more opportunities for growth and development. More options mean better rights for people with disabilities.

Who will be working with me from MCL?
MCL is a team of caring, dedicated Community Residential Workers (CRW), Program Coordinators (PC), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are available to cooperate with everyone in your circle of support including family and friends, plus health and mental wellness professionals.
